Wood Stoves |
Nothing beats the look of a natural wood burning fireplace. While a wood fireplace or stove requires frequent trips to the wood pile, they are by far the simplest hearth products around. Therefore, the maintenance costs are low and the longevity is high. |

Gas Stoves |
Natural gas is the cleanest burning of the fuels used by consumer fireplaces and stoves. Gas is piped directly to your hearth product and can be controlled by the flick of a switch, with a thermostat, or even by wireless remote control. Gas units require less maintenance than any other hearth product. |

Pellet Stove |
A Pellet Stove is a zoned heating appliance much like a wood or gas stove which burns wood pellets as a fuel source. Most pellet stoves are easily vented through a wall as compared to their wood counterpart. There is also a wider flexibility of installation options since the venting pipes are smaller.

Gas Fireplaces |
Because there are many types of burners, thermostats, pilots, and other controls, you should read the owners manual to understand the frequency and type of maintenance required by each gas fireplace or gas stove. While the main unit should last for years and years, some ceramic logs and embers may have to be replaced every few years.

Wood Fireplaces |
Many of us find the allure of a fireplace irresistible. The beauty of a roaring fire, the cosy or romantic atmosphere it creates, and the sometimes misplaced notion that a fireplace can reduce a home’s heating costs and help the environment by using a renewable fuel are all powerful motivators. |

Fireplace Inserts |
Fireplace inserts are heating units that retrofit into an existing fireplace (masonry or factory-built). They burn wood, gas or wood pellets and offer superior efficiency. Inserts utilize the existing chimney, though a flue liner or other modification may be necessary. Vent-free inserts require no chimney or flue modification. Most have blowers to circulate the heat. Inserts are used to change an existing non-efficient fireplace into an efficient, heat producing zone heater.

Gas Logs |
For people who have an existing fireplace but seldom use it, a set of gas logs may be the best way to have dancing flames at your fingertips. Gas logs provide dramatic realism, from the lifelike ceramic fiber, concrete or refractory logs down to the glowing embers. These logs sets have a burner that uses either natural gas or propane.

Glass Doors |
Glass doors insulate the fireplace when the fireplace is not in use by providing a "dead air" space between the closed damper and closed fireplace glass doors.
